Personally Identifiable Information

Privacy concerns center on information that can be associated with a particular individual or entity. This information is often referred to as "personally identifiable information" and includes, for example, such things as a customer's name, address, telephone number, social security number or e-mail address.

Disclosure: WCS Telecom will not sell to third parties any personally identifiable information obtained from the registration for or use of a WCS Telecom online service nor will WCS Telecom disclose any personally identifiable information without the consent of the customer except: (i) as required by subpoena or other legal process; (ii) in the case of imminent physical harm to the customer or others; (iii) to protect WCS Telecom's property. WCS Telecom may also disclose personally identifiable information to business partners who assist WCS Telecom in providing service to you. When WCS Telecom uses agents, contractors or other companies to perform services on its behalf or in cooperation, WCS Telecom will require that they protect your personally identifiable information consistent with this Policy.

Use of Personally Identifiable Information: WCS Telecom collects and uses personally identifiable information obtained from you and from other sources for billing purposes, to provide and change service, to anticipate and resolve problems with your service, or to identify, create and inform you of products and services that better meet your needs.

Collection of Internet Usage Data: WCS Telecom's gathers information about Internet usage such as the sites visited, session lengths, bit rates, and number of messages and bytes passed. WCS Telecom uses this information in the aggregate. WCS Telecom may share this aggregated information with other parties from time to time and for billing purposes.

E-mail: WCS Telecom will not read your outgoing or incoming e-mail, private chat or instant messages. WCS Telecom or its agents may store e-mail messages for a brief period of time and could be compelled to disclose the messages in order to comply with a court order or subpoena, or if it is necessary to disclose this information to protect an individual's safety or security. WCS Telecom may also use personally identifiable information to investigate and help prevent potentially unlawful activity or activity that threatens the network or otherwise violates the customer agreement for service.

Security: WCS Telecom has in place security measures and policy guidelines to protect your customer identifiable information from unauthorized access.

Children: WCS Telecom does not target children or teenagers for the collection of personally identifiable information. WCS Telecom encourages parents and guardians to spend time online with their children and to participate in and monitor their Internet activity. All minors should have parental consent before using the Internet or disclosing any personally identifiable information online.

Updating Privacy Policy: From time to time WCS Telecom may update its website privacy policy. When it does so, it will post the updated policy on its website, note the effective date of the new policy, and, if the changes are deemed by WCS Telecom to be material, provide an overview of the material changes for 30 days after the effective date at the top of the updated policy to provide notice of the changes.
